Woody
Male - Neutered
Large breed dog
Age - 7 years old
Dogs - A tad disinterested
Cats – Not cat tested
Children – No children
Personality – Woody can be a very affectionate dog and he loves a good cuddle! He is quite an independent dog who enjoys doing his own thing and whilst he gets on with most dogs, he is a tad disinterested in them. He enjoys his walks but his favourite thing is 1-2-1 training! He will do anything for a tasty treat and knows a series of commands. Woody can be a little worried around certain areas that he associates with food but he takes treats so gently and doesn't push for more (this will be discussed further with suitable applicants.) He is great off the lead.
Suitable home – Woody is a big dog that will initially push his boundaries therefore he need a home with experience in large breed rescue dogs and working dogs. Woody like most dogs prefers to know what is and what isn’t expected of him, he will need firm boundaries and clear guidance to help him become the very best dog that he can. He gets on with most dogs but enjoys his own company too. He needs a home with plenty of outdoor space and a quiet area in the house for him to sleep and enjoy his downtime. Ideally a country or farm home would suit him best and he would need two substantial walks a day. We do not know Woody’s history around children and due to needing an experienced home with continued training we are looking for a child free home.
Additional Information - Woody is very strong on the lead and needs further training. We do not know what type of dog Woody is. He has the most amazing coat that will require regular grooming to keep him looking and feeling good.
Please read Woody’s information carefully before applying. If you then feel you can give Woody the home he is looking for complete the application form below.
