Dog Walk
This June, we’re asking the people of Horsham and surrounding areas to join us to raise much-needed funds to rebuild our rescue centre.

Holbrook Animal Rescue is being forced to relocate due to a housing development, and we need your help to rebuild our rescue centre. We have set a goal of raising £100,000 this year, and every pound counts.
What is the Big Community Dog Walk?
During the month of June, we are asking the dog lovers of Horsham & beyond to pledge to walk 100 miles (or whatever you can manage) to raise money for Holbrook Animal Rescue.
The walks can be done in your own time, and at your own pace. You can also join our community on the MapMyFitness App to track your progress and cheer on your fellow dog walkers! 100 miles breaks down to around 3 miles per day. Or, if you have a more energetic dog, you can pledge more miles. It’s completely up to you. Don’t have a dog? No worries, you can still join in the fun!
How can you get involved?
Step 1
Choose how many miles you wish to pledge and visit our Official Rebuild Our
Rescue donation page. Set up your own JustGiving fundraising page by clicking 'start fundraising'. Sign in or sign up and add some text / images to describe what you’re doing.
Step 2
Share your JustGiving page with friends and family, either in person on via social
media. It’s sometimes helpful to share your page a few times to secure as much sponsorship as possible.
Step 3 (Optional)
If you’d like to track your distance and cheer on your fellow participants, you can download the MapMyFitness App and add us as a friend. Follow the instructions below to set this up!

I’m taking part in the Big Community Dog Walk for Holbrook Animal Rescue, and I need your support!
During the month of June, I will be walking XXX miles with my dog/s NAME in order to raise funds for Holbrook Animal Rescue’s new rescue centre.
Unfortunately, a large housing development is forcing them to relocate from their home of nearly 30 years and they need to raise £100,000 towards the cost of rebuilding the rescue centre.
Your much-needed donations will go towards building materials to ensure the centre can continue its important work of rehoming and rehabilitating unwanted and abandoned animals in the future.
